EASY AND TASTY MILK POWDER BARFI





Ingredients
  • Ghee - 1/3  cup 
  • Milk - 1/2 cup 
  • Milk Powder - 2 cups
  • Powdered Sugar - 1 cup 
  • Cardamom Powder 
  • Dry Fruits to garnish
Method
  • Firstly, lets melt some ghee in the pan on low heat, once ghee is melted switch off the gas and  add milk to the pan and stir for sometime.
  • Now lets add the main ingredient that is milk powder to the pan and stir continuously, make sure that there are no lumps formed .
  • Lets switch on the gas and stir continuously for sometime and add in the sugar and cardamom powder into the pan.
  • Keep stirring continuously for 15 to 20 mins depending the consistency of the milk in the pan, stir until the mixture thickens and start leaving the pan.
  • Lastly its time to grease the tray with ghee and transfer the mixture and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Now garnish with chopped nuts and press the nuts on the tops so that it sticks properly, allow this to set  at room temperature for 1 to 2 hr .
  • Once set remove it from tray and cut into desired shape.  
Note
  • We can rest the mixture for longer duration  or remove it soon depending on the mixtures consistency
  • Make sure to stir continuously in low to medium flame or else bottom might burn.
