RAVA LADDU RECIPE | SAMOLINA LADDU
Ingredients:
Rava/suji/ chiroti rava - 1 cup
sugar - 1 cup
cashew nuts- 1/4 cup
Raisins - 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tbsp
Ghee-1/4 cup
Method:
- Heat ghee in a kadai and fry chopped cashew nuts and raisins , fry them until cashew nuts turn golden brown in color and raisins become plump , keep them aside.
- In the same kadai add rava and fry them until you get a nice aroma and roast then without burning or discoloring the rava and remove it to the plate set aside.
- Grind the sugar as we need powder sugar for this recipe.
- Mix the roasted rava and powdered sugar and leave them aside for sometime( half an hour).
- Add the fried nuts and cardamom powder to the above mixture.
- Melt the ghee and add it to the above mixture and mix properly.
- Now all set to make yumm ladoos we need to make small laddu out of this mixture, hold the laddos tightly so that it wont break if we arrange in the box.
Tips:
- If the mixture is too dry add either warm melted ghee or some milk and mix well .
- If the mixture turns runny or liquid then its better to leave the mixture for sometime unless u get the thick consistency where the laddus can be prepared.
