SHRIKHAND RECIPE|HOW TO MAKE ELACHI SHRIKHAND





INGREDIENTS
  • Thick curd / Greek yogurt - 2 cups
  • Powdered sugar - 1/4 cups
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Chopped nuts- 2 tbsp

METHOD
  • We need some hung curd (Thick curd) and let the water drain in a sieve for at least seven to eight hours in the refrigerator, prefer keeping in the refrigerator so that depending on the season if its summer or something it might just get some sourness.
  • Now pass the Thick curd through the sieve for very smooth texture.
  • Sieve powdered sugar to the curd .
  • Now its time to add some cardamom powder to the mixture and give it a good stir and mix it properly.
  • One can add the chopped nuts to the mixture right now and mix it properly or even garnish the nuts before serving.
 NOTE
  • Make sure that you serve it absolutely chilled.
  • One can always make lot of different variations using fruits like mango, pineapple or even some saffron and enjoy different flavors of Shrikhand.
